What You’ll Do:

Data Scientists work as part of a cross-functional development team to deliver the next releases of our enterprise project and portfolio management products. Your primary responsibility will be taking data from multiple products, analyzing, cleansing, finding features, building and training models to solve industry problems. You will need SQL skill set to be able to analyze data. You will need past experience with building models and trying different approaches to ensure highest degrees of accuracy. We solve interesting and complex problems that can help revolutionize the construction industry.

What You’ll Bring: (Objective Minimum Qualifications)

To be considered for a Data Scientist position in the CEGBU organization, you must possess the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below. Please ensure that your application clearly indicates that you meet these OMQs, either on your resume and/or by uploading additional documents such as a transcript.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent science/engineering field and will be returning to school for the 2025-2026 school year.
  • Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.
  • Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025.
  • Proficiency in one of the following technology areas:
    • Python development and object-oriented software design
    • Experience in developing and training models
    • SQL and previous database experience
Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to quickly grasp and communicate technical, business, and design information
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Effective at working in teams and collaborating with technical and non-technical team members
  • Experience working on an existing, large codebase
  • Passion and enthusiasm, if you care about what you do, you’ll do a better job at it
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $18.99 to $53.00 per hour; from $39,500 to $110,240 per annum.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  • Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
