Astria Health is seeking an Education Coordinator to join our team! This position is located in our Toppenish Astria Hospital. 

Shift Information will be discussed in the interview. 

As the Education Coordinator, you be responsible for responding to identified staff education needs with appropriate programs and/or materials. You will:

• Responsible for determining the appropriateness of commercially prepared educational programs,
  
•  Responsible for maintaining education library,
  
• Responsible for participating in the evaluation process to determine the timeliness, quality, and appropriateness of educational programs, 
  
• Participates in various Hospital and community committees or programs, as directed,
  
• Collaborate with Human Resources to maintain all pertinent education & training records for nursing personnel,
  
• Develop and/or assist in development of education programs, presentations and/or education materials; develop and/or assist to plan and prepare curriculum content and course outlines in conformance with program objectives and accreditation standards; modify and update existing educational programs or recommend modifications as appropriate,
  
• Determine the appropriateness of commercially prepared educational programs,
  
• Assess educational needs of the learner and develop plans for learning experiences appropriate for meeting recognized needs; evaluate the effectiveness of instructional programs and make recommendations for program content revision,
  
• Prepares reports for departmental directors and Safety Committee,
  
• Perform other duties as assigned,
  
• Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries,
  
• Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization
