Software Development Lead

Job requirements

Experience Range: With at least 4 to 6 years of experience in software development, including substantial expertise in Python backend and microservices architecture Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable backend services and microservices using Python, ensuring high performance and reliability
  • Lead end-to-end development of fullstack applications, integrating React-based frontends with robust Python backends
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and delivery of applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, architecture, and deliverables
  • Optimize database performance and data models using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis to ensure efficient data handling
  • Manage containerization and orchestration of services using Docker and Kubernetes for seamless deployment and scalability
  • Develop, document, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs to enable secure and efficient communication between services
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices in software engineering
    • Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python for backend development
  • Experience with microservices architecture and design
  • Strong knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI frameworks
  • Proficiency in Golang as a secondary backend language
  • CI/CD pipeline setup and management using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
  • Containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Database management and optimization with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
  • API development and integration using REST and GraphQL
  • Automated testing with PyTest
    • Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on expertise in React, including React Context and Redux
  • Frontend styling with CSS, SCSS, or LESS
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of advanced caching strategies and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with security best practices for microservices and APIs
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
    • Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Certification in Python development or microservices architecture (such as PCAP, PCEP, or similar)
  • Certification in cloud technologies or DevOps practices (such as AWS Certified Developer, Kubernetes Administrator, or equivalent)
