Overview
Bassett Healthcare Network, central New York, is seeking a General podiatrist to join our staff.
- Salary Range: $180,000 - $225,000
- Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000
- Location: Cooperstown, NY
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Join an established group of 2 General Podiatrists and 4 Podiatric Surgeons
- Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
- Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
- Call expectation of one week every 5th week. Option to perform limb salvage cases and take limb salvage call. No elective cases.
- 180 Bed Primary Hospital with Level III Trauma Center
- Instant Referral Base provided by over 300 Primary Care Clinicians
- Opportunity for procedure room privileges
Requirements
- DPM
- BC/BE
- Completion of an accredited USA Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency
- New York State Licensure
- BLS Certification Required

Compensation
- Salary Range: $180,000 - $225,000.
- This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
- Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000
- Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
