JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Planner plays a critical role in ensuring product and process compliance with customer, company, and regulatory standards, including AS9100 requirements. This position is responsible for advanced product quality planning, developing and maintaining accurate quality documentation, and supporting manufacturing operations to ensure the delivery of conforming products.
Shift Hours: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM, Monday-Friday
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, review, and maintain quality control documentation to meet AS9100, customer, and internal standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, applying GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5 or equivalent) to inspection and production planning.
- Balloon customer and internal drawings; create and maintain inspection plans and shop-floor documentation.
- Manage revision control for internal and external changes; update and distribute documentation accordingly.
- Prepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) per AS9102 requirements; ensure complete and accurate records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with quality tasks across inspection, receiving, and other areas as needed.
- Maintain compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Requirements
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings with GD&T standards.
- Strong understanding of GD&T application in manufacturing and inspection processes.
- Technical writing and documentation accuracy.
- Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in inspection, manufacturing, or GD&T application required.
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical certifications preferred.
- GD&T certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with AS9100 and AS9102 standards preferred.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.

COMPENSATION: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
