The Manufacturing Associate – SMT Staging, under general supervision, performs a wide variety of kit set-up activities including loading inventory on mechanical feeders and setup per pick and place program issue stencils and solder paste, label boards material put-away, measurement of components and cross trains in lateral positions as required. Uses a variety of tools including but not limited to computers, label makers, portable bar-code scanners, DVM (Digital Volt Meters).

Requirements
What you’ll do:
- Be a willing contributor in all continuous improvement, training and other workplace programs
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
- Provides clear communication using several sources; in person, over the phone, email, or in writing
- Motivate team and create a positive team working environment.
- Ensure benches, tools and equipment are maintained and in good working condition
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need:
- Demonstrated self-management, problem-solving skills, and work accuracy with an attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and organize several activities to meet daily requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with multiple levels of personnel throughout manufacturing required.
- Ability to actively follow detailed directions written and verbal.
- Effectively manipulate extremely small and/or fragile components and tools.
- Ability to use visual aids, complicated drawings to verify quality products.
- Communicate in person, over the phone, email, internet or in writing in a positive and professional manner at all times
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Ability to obtain J-STD and IPC certification within 90 days.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three or more years of stockroom experience with electronic components preferred
