Your role in the team

What you’ll do: 

  • Develop software across the full stack, front-end (web or mobile) and back-end services. 
  • Work with modern principles like 12-factor app design, test-driven development, and continuous integration to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. 
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to design and implement features that meet user needs. 
  • Be part of a team that values simplicity, innovation, and shared decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be part of a Digital Product Team delivering innovative products that safeguard people at critical moments
  • Contribute and engage in team ceremonies from daily stand up to weekly demo
  • Build products using modern computing techniques inclusive of TDD, CI/CD, Human-centered design, code management including reuse, secure computing.
  • Develop using multiple programming languages and tools across the full stack
  • Be part of a team focused on outcomes, building products that value reuse, scale, maintainability, quality and security
  • Take pride in end-to-end product ownership from coding to production deployments and support
  • Operate with a mindset of continuous refactoring and improvement

Essential Skills:

  • Completed (within the last 3 years) or expected to complete by July 2026 (or November 2026 for MSc) a practical, engineering-focused IT degree or a related discipline that includes significant programming and system design components.
  • Candidates studying or who have studied an IT degree must currently hold or have achieved:

  • A 2:1 average to date for undergraduate degrees, or
  • A Commendation if completing/completed a master’s degree.

Applicants must provide a full list of module marks for each year completed and any current year-to-date marks at the application stage. Failure to do so will result in withdrawal from the recruitment process.

  • To qualify for our graduate program, you must have less than 1 year of post-graduate experience
