Your Tasks
Join the international team of Global Category Managers within the Procurement Logistics Services at Beiersdorf, a global leader in the skincare and consumer goods industry. Our team, spread across Hamburg, Bangkok, and Mexico City, is at the forefront of steering global procurement demands for Logistic Services, covering a spectrum of categories such as Warehousing, Inbound Transportation, Outbound Transportation, Seafreight, and Airfreight. We are partnering with our global, regional and local suppliers while collaborating closely with Market Units, Production Centers as well as Global and Regional functions within Beiersdorf to navigate through the dynamic logistics markets and achieve our strategic goals.
Typical tasks within the scope of your working student activity are for example:
- Participation in projects on tactical & strategic level (e.g. tenders, market research and supplier evaluations)
- Cross-functional and international cooperation within the supply chain and related functions
- Support in procurement relevant topics (e.g. sustainability, Seafreight regular rate updates)
- Working with procurement relevant IT systems such as SAP
- Preparation of analyses and overviews in MS Excel
- Creation of presentations in MS PowerPoint (e.g. for top-to-top supplier meetings)
Your Profile
- Studies in the field of supply chain management, business administration, economics or similar
- Enrolled during the whole working student time in bachelor’s or master’s studies
- First experiences through internships or working student activities in supply chain management
- Affinity for fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry
- Confident handling of MS Office, SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Structured, independent and process-oriented way of working
- Very good written and oral communication skills in English
