Your Tasks
At Beiersdorf Shared Services, we are the Beiersdorf IT group and act as a proactive business enabler, co-creating value for our brands, functions and markets by delivering innovative, reliable, and efficient information and data technologies.
As a member of the Global Mail Team, you will collaborate and support in defining, deploying, and maintaining the mailing architecture and support globally out most important stakeholders.
Relevant working tasks will be:
- Design, deploy, and maintain a state-of-the-art Exchange infrastructure in a hybrid environment.
- Provide 3rd-level support for complex messaging issues, ensuring SLA commitments are met.
- Support special requests while maintaining compliance with security, data protection, and company standards.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems.
- Partner with Cyber Security and Core Infrastructure Teams to ensure a secure and stable environment.
- Drive automation initiatives in the messaging area to improve efficiency and resilience.
- Implement and track cybersecurity measures, data protection policies, and Works Council requirements.
- Work directly with vendors and service providers to optimize performance and accelerate issue resolution.
Your Profile
- University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or comparable qualifications
- Several years of professional IT experience, ideally within consulting or large enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Exchange Server (2019/SE) and Exchange Online.
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and hybrid Exchange environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Outlook configuration, and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with Windows Server administration and PKI infrastructure.
- Proactive, passionate, and structured with a hands-on mentality.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Willingness to participate in on-call support rotation.
- Proven track record of working effectively with external service providers.
- Fluent in English and German (additional languages are a plus).
