Job Purpose

The Global HCM Systems Analyst will co-lead human capital management (HCM) integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), ensuring seamless HR data and system integration with newly acquired entities. The role focuses on gathering business requirements, designing data flows, validating integrations, and maintaining best practices for global HR data processes. This position requires close collaboration with HRIS, enterprise architecture, PMO, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient HCM integrations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-lead HCM system and data integration for new acquisitions, including planning, coordinating, and executing integration activities.
  • Gather and document detailed HR data requirements, including fields, formats, sources, and business rules.
  • Develop source-to-target HR data mapping, including transformation logic, validation rules, and data flow diagrams.
  • Produce clear documentation of process flows, integration specifications, technical designs, and user stories for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Manage Agile user stories in Azure DevOps, capturing business needs, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Define interface specifications, including APIs, file formats, schedules, and error handling procedures.
  • Facilitate workshops, mapping sessions, and stakeholder meetings, capturing minutes and action items.
  • Organize and maintain SharePoint repositories for project artifacts, ensuring version control and easy access.
  • Deliver status reports, dashboards, and updates on project progress, risks, and issues using tools like Azure DevOps or Power BI.
  • Recommend global best practices and improvements for HCM data processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Validate integrations and troubleshoot interface issues to ensure reliable, accurate data exchange.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in systems or business analysis, preferably focused on HCM or data integration projects.
  • Hands-on experience with major HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, etc.).
  • Proven experience in global HCM data initiatives, HRIS implementations, or M&A integration projects.
  • Strong understanding of HR data structures, governance, and integration methodologies.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and vice versa.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of global HR operations and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, CBAP, Workday, or other HR technology certifications) are a plus.
