Job Summary:
The Corporate Finance Intern will collaborate with the finance department to support strategic projects and play a key role in achieving the Company’s financial goals. This internship offers valuable experience in financial analysis and reporting activities at Woda Cooper Companies.
Reports To:
The Corporate Finance Intern reports to the Vice President of Financial Reporting.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Gathering and analyzing data from internal sources and third-party partners to provide key financial insights into the company’s functions.
- Identifying and resolving issues related to financial operations, including accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Maintaining and updating critical databases and documentation related to financial and investor reporting.
- Collaborating with various departments to gather data and support accurate financial summaries.
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of reporting processes and tools to increase efficiency and clarity.
- Conducting research and compiling financial data to support project underwriting.
- Assisting with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed to support organizational priorities.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail, emphasizing accuracy and precision in financial analysis.
- Well-versed verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly explain financial information to both specialized and non-specialized audiences.
- Proficient in Excel, with strong skills in financial modeling and data analytics.
Education and Experience:
- Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a bachelor’s or master’s in
a related field. - Background in data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in creating and maintaining reports.
Physical Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance.
