About the Role
We are seeking a Medior Automation Tester with strong expertise in Playwright to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for web applications.
- Maintain and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and performance.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Work in an Agile environment and actively participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
- 4–6 years of experience in automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory).
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (mandatory).
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
