We have entered our next chapter of growth and require an additional Dispatcher to support our growing field team and customer base in the Charlotte Metro and Piedmont Triad regions of NC.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The HVAC Service Coordinator is a critical role that ensures RedBlue is providing quality and timely service to our customers for both service calls and preventative maintenance. The primary duty of the HVAC Service Coordinator is to answer customer calls, evaluate their needs, and then interact with field technicians in “real time” by assigning service calls and other job-related assignments to exceed customer expectations. Also, additionally responsible for real time updates of service call status and maintaining the dispatch board, which is a critical function to keep the schedule current and organized at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide world-class customer service
- Plan, schedule, and dispatch technicians to appropriate customer based on technician's skill set, location, and priority level of customer needs
- Ownership of Dispatch Board, including movement of work orders on the dispatch board to accurately reflect current “real-time” status
- Continuous follow-up with team members
- Create, open, and/or close work order requests as needed
- Ability to learn customer specific software and workflow management systems
- Provide customers with the accurate timing for when the Redblue technician will arrive onsite when necessary
- Manage competing priorities and resources in support of our customers and technicians
- Receive parts (in office) for pending repair work, organize and label by PO & customer, and communicate with assigned tech for scheduling and job completion.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years experience in service dispatch, construction/service trades, or related field
- Data entry experience
- Ability to multitask in a face paced environment
- Verbal & written communication skills
- Attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook and ability to learn new technology quickly
