- Ensure the availability and optimal performance of production systems.
- Drive the resolution of incidents and outages while maintaining clear communication.
- Facilitate the restoration of services in the production environment.
- Establish and uphold disaster recovery procedures.
- Maintain data retention practices to ensure compliance and security.
✅ Core Technical Skills
- Platforms: WAS, ACE, JBOSS, DataPower, BPM.
- AppServer Management: Configuration, deployment, clustering, and performance tuning.
- Messaging: IBM MQ, JMS.
- Containers & Cloud: OpenShift, Docker, Azure, Kubernetes.
- Web Servers: Apache, NGINX.
- Scripting: Bash, Python, PowerShell, Jenkins Pipelines.
- Security: TLS/SSL, OAuth2, SAML, certificates, and secure integration.
✅ Soft Skills & Practices
- Problem-Solving: Root cause analysis, performance bottleneck resolution.
- Collaboration: Working with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
- Documentation: Clear runbooks, architecture diagrams, configuration standards.
- Change & Release Management: DevOps alignment.
✅ Specialist-Level Skills
- Performance Engineering: Tuning JAVA (6, 8, 21), JVM, thread pools, heap size, Garbage Collection strategies.
- Cloud-Native Middleware: API Gateways (DataPower GW), serverless integration.
- Security Compliance: Middleware hardening.
