The Role:

Are you passionate about technology and capital markets? Join our dynamic trading team as a Trading Support Technical Analyst, where you'll be the first line of defense for trading technology, ensuring smooth operations and driving innovation. This is a high-impact role that blends technical expertise, business analysis, and relationship management in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Trading Technology Support
    • Serve as the primary contact for trading-related technical issues.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve application problems; perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Application Performance & Upgrades
    • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
    • Coordinate upgrades and enhancements with vendors and internal teams.
  • Business Analysis & Automation
    • Collaborate with trading and project teams to define project scope and objectives.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and exchanges.
    • Work closely with Trading Technology Manager and support teams to align on priorities.
  • Risk Awareness
    • Escalate risks and errors promptly.
    • Contribute to improving controls and reducing operational risk.

What You Bring

  • Skills & Knowledge
    • Strong communication skills; able to translate business needs into technical solutions.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Solid understanding of trading systems, FIX protocol, and capital markets.
    • Experience with OMS/EMS platforms and market data systems.
  • Experience
    • 3–5 years in a trade support or business analyst role within capital markets.
    • Familiarity with execution, middle/back office, and market data systems.
    • Experience with Broadridge Dataphile, IRESS, Bloomberg is a plus.
    • University degree or equivalent experience.
