This is a temporary leave replacement position that could possibly turn into full-time.
Job Title: Temporary Payroll Clerk (Leave Replacement)
Summary:
The Temporary Payroll Clerk supports the Payroll Department in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees. This position will assist with day-to-day payroll operations, provide front-line support to staff inquiries, and help maintain organized and compliant payroll records.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answer and triage calls to the payroll help desk, resolving or routing inquiries as appropriate.
  • Perform filing, data entry, and general administrative support for the payroll team.
  • Audit payroll records and assist in identifying and correcting errors.
  • Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare and issue miscellaneous payroll checks, including sign-on bonuses and employee referral awards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all payroll policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • 1–2 years of previous payroll experience required.
  • Experience using Ceridian Dayforce preferred.
  • Moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
