We’re seeking a dynamic Director of Rehab to lead our therapy team at a high-volume, fast-paced Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in the Indianapolis metro area. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of driving customer satisfaction, fostering collaborative team environments, and implementing accountability strategies that elevate staff performance. A deep understanding of industry-standard key performance indicators, coupled with the ability to develop and execute innovative programs and processes, is essential. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and daily oversight of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services across all levels of care within the community.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative therapy team through effective recruitment, training, mentoring, and accountability.
  • Ensure delivery of person-centered, evidence-based care that meets quality, regulatory, and reimbursement standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators—including productivity, outcomes, customer satisfaction, and financial performance—and implement improvement strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and support compliance with Medicare, PDPM, and managed care guidelines.
  • Manage departmental budget and resources to ensure operational efficiency and financial sustainability.
  • Collaborate with nursing, medical, and administrative leadership to coordinate care, enhance resident outcomes, and drive program growth.
  • Lead continuous quality improvement efforts and champion innovative programs that advance clinical excellence and resident satisfaction.

Requirements

 Qualifications & Requirements

  • Licensed PT, OT, PTA, or OTA in good standing (state licensure required).
  • 3+ years of clinical experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of PDPM, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, and clinical documentation standards.
  • Demonstrated success in staff leadership, performance management, and program development.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience in a CCRC or senior living environment preferred.
