Job Opportunity: PBX Operator at Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance

Role and Responsibilities: The PBX Operator answers and directs incoming calls to the appropriate person or department. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Answers all incoming calls through the switchboard.
  • Notifies employees of emergencies.
  • Notifies security and/or maintenance in case of emergencies.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic PC skills
  • Great oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to function effectively in the workplace as exhibited through ones integrity, courage to act and communication skills
  • The ability work with others effectively as exhibited through ones respect for people and commitment to teamwork
  • The ability to meet organizational goals and customer expectations as exhibited through ones accountability for results, commitment to service and initiative
  • The ability to perform the essential functions of the job as exhibited through ones growth in job knowledge and professional development
