Job Summary:
The Post Closing Specialist is responsible for reviewing closed loan files for compliance, completeness and accuracy with the goal of ensuring a saleable asset.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reviews completed closed loan documents for quality control and follow-up.
- Performs quality control review of loan collateral documents to ensure accuracy.
- Ship closed loan files to investors and notes to warehouse banks based on investor specific requirements.
- Identifies the suspended loans that need to be elevated, distributes to internal and external partners, and works to clear those conditions daily.
- Maintains a working knowledge of investor requirements.
- Managing correspondent post-closing investor pipelines and turn times.
- Resolve investor issues and correct mistakes, if necessary
- Follows documented checklist regarding FHA and VA insuring requirements in order to receive FHA and VA certificates.
- Processes hazard insurance mortgagee change requests.
- Manage investor reports specific to recorded mortgages / final title policies and provide all associated information within allocated timeframes.
- Communicate with internal and external partners on corrections needed to closing documentation and/or gathers missing documentation.
- Work closely with internal and external customers to create efficiencies with the overall customer experience.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing additional tasks as needed.
- Assists with special projects as assigned.
- Assists with periodic review of training guides and employee processes pursuant to job roles and responsibilities within division.
- Provides professional feedback (both positive and negative) to other departments within the RUM organization in order to improve processes.
- Works a flexible schedule to complete all job tasks within established timeframes.
- Protects company office equipment as well as all customer non-public personal information (NPPI) while in the office and in a remote environment.

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or Higher level of completed education.
- 1+ years experience in customer service, loan processing or servicing, post-closing preferred.
- Must possess the proven ability to achieve consistent, high quality results.
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other current technology platforms.
