*Note: This position requires presence in our San Francisco/San Jose or upcoming Seattle office location 4 days per week; Lambda’s designated work from home day is currently Tuesday.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the development and execution of pricing strategy across Lambda’s portfolio of cloud services and products

• Conduct in-depth competitive pricing research and market analysis to inform pricing decisions

• Define and guide list pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with competitive benchmarks and business objectives

• Partner with Finance, RevOps, and Billing to operationalize pricing, ensuring accurate implementation in pricing and billing systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Sales, Product, and Engineering) to support complex or custom pricing scenarios

• Communicate pricing rationale and changes clearly across the org, ensuring alignment and understanding

• Bring clarity to backend pricing operations—highlighting what works, what doesn’t, and how to improve tooling/processes

• Develop cost-based models to support pricing strategy (cost-plus, value-based, etc.)

You

• Have deep experience setting list prices and conducting pricing analysis in cloud-based or infrastructure services

• Possess a strong understanding of pricing models and cost structures (e.g. cost-plus, value-based)

• Have worked closely with Finance, RevOps, and Engineering teams to operationalize and implement pricing

• Are comfortable managing pricing across multiple products or SKUs

• Communicate clearly and analytically about pricing mechanics, tradeoffs, and system-level constraints

• Thrive in cross-functional environments and bring a blend of product, finance, and operational thinking

• Are organized, rigorous, and comfortable owning pricing initiatives from research to rollout

Nice to Have

• Experience pricing multiple SKUs across enterprise or cloud infrastructure offerings

• Exposure to custom pricing workstreams for strategic or SI partnerships

• Familiarity with common pricing/billing platforms or homegrown pricing tools

• Background in ML, compute infrastructure, or technical product management

Salary Range Information

The annual salary range for this position has been set based on market data and other factors. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
