We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary AI LLM and Search Senior Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex cloud-native systems, with a focus on search architectures, agentic systems, and Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions. You will work closely with both internal engineering teams and external clients, acting as a technical leader, trusted advisor, and strategic partner in developing innovative and scalable software platforms.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing role that requires both deep technical expertise and strong business acumen, with a strong focus on developing new business opportunities and opening new projects and customer relationships.

Technical Leadership

• Architect and implement search platforms, agentic workflows, and LLM-integrated applications.
• Drive technical strategy across cloud, data, and AI domains, ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional development teams, including developers, DevOps, and data engineers.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and development processes.

LLM and Agentic Systems

• Design and integrate LLM-driven solutions including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), multi-agent systems, and orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel).
• Evaluate and incorporate new LLM capabilities, vector databases, and search optimization techniques.
• Ensure security, ethical, and governance considerations in the use of generative AI technologies.

Client Engagement & Business Development

• Work closely with client-facing teams to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead architectural discussions and presentations with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of business propositions, including cost models, value assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Lead or contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept initiatives for strategic accounts.
• Build trust with customers through thought leadership, hands-on expertise, and clear communication.
• Build and present proposals to customers and internal client teams.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience (8+ years) as a Software Architect or Principal Engineer, with a strong track record in cloud-native systems.
• Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP); multi-cloud experience preferred.
• Deep experience designing search architectures, including full-text search, semantic search, and vector similarity.
• Solid understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with agentic architectures and autonomous workflows.
• Proficient in relevant languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, etc.), and cloud-native tooling (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD).
• Experience with vector databases and vector repositories.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with enterprise search platforms (e.g., Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr).
• Experience with content processing and NLP platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building SaaS, API-first platforms, or developer tools.
• Working knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and security practices in AI/LLM systems.
• Prior experience in customer-facing pre-sales, solution architecture, or consultancy roles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both technical and non-technical.
