Job Title: Human Resources Director/ Officer Department: Operations
Supervisor Title: Controller
Reporting Relationships: President, SVP/Chief Lending Officer, SVP/Chief Information Officer
Type of Position: Full time; Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
General Summary
The Human Resources Officer is responsible for the administration and maintenance of payroll processing, benefits, employee engagement, performance reviews and performance improvement plans. Will complete required filings of tax documentation and other employment related filings in a timely manner. Handles all general Human Resources related inquiries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer compensation program for all exempt and non- exempt employees. This includes payroll, payroll taxes and other employee compensation
- Oversee the recruiting, placement and orientation of new employees
- Oversee compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain personnel policies. Improve policies when needed and keep up to date
- Administer bank benefit plans by coordinating annual enrollment and process required documents. Processing payments as required
- Coordinate all employee reviews with their supervisors and implement improvement plans as needed
- Maintain filing system of employee records, benefits records and other bank policies as required
- Travel may be required between office locations as needed. Some travel may be required for additional training.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent experience
- SHRM-CP, PHR or other certifications a plus
- Knowledge of employment laws and Human Resources regulations
- Knowledge of HRIS (like Paycom, UKG, etc.)
- Ability to balance multiple projects/tasks and prioritize and organize accordingly
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills
- Represent the bank in a professional manner
- Ability to handle information in a confidential manner
