Role: Tennis Coach
Grade and Salary: Grade 4, £24,215 - £26,707 per annum (pro-rata)
FTE and working pattern: 0.5FTE, 17.5hrs per week, programme times to be confirmed but are flexible to fit successful candidates (self-employed contract can also be negotiated during recruitment process)
Holiday Entitlement: 28 days annual leave plus 9 buildings closed days (and Christmas Eve when it falls on a weekday) (pro-rata)
Purpose of Role
Oriam is looking to appoint an enthusiastic tennis coach who is passionate about coaching on a programme at our six court facility.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Delivery of Oriam tennis coaching sessions as per programme and coaching curriculum.
- Record attendance at classes and fill out necessary paperwork for Go Learn.
- As per LTA requirements, attend regular CPD to develop skills and experiences.
Essential & Desirable Criteria
Essential
- Qualified to LTA Level 2 Coaching Award.
- Accredited to LTA Accredited+.
- Proven experience in tennis coaching, possessing the personality, initiative and energy to take on this key role.
- Excellent customer service skills, through effective communication in a positive, influential and timely manner across a range of communications.
- Commitment to work regular mornings, evenings and weekends, as per programme schedule.
- Competent in the use of relevant IT packages.
Desirable
- Qualified to LTA Level 3
- Demonstratable commitment to developing personal and technical skills out with main tennis coaching pathway.
