Join Us in Powering the Future: L&D Advisor for the Civil Works Alliance (CWA)

We have an opportunity to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) as we support the construction of Sizewell C, a state-of-the-art 3.2-gigawatt power station that will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes for at least 60 years. We're looking for a dynamic L&D Advisor to ensure our employees remain compliant with required training and to help us build a world-class team.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a groundbreaking project that's set to shape the future of energy in the UK.
  • Work in a diverse and inclusive environment that values your unique perspective.
  • Collaborate with a team of experts in the nuclear and construction industries.

What Will You Do?

  • Book employees onto relevant training courses, liaising with trainers, delegates, and suppliers.
  • Manage upcoming expiries, ensuring compliance with SQEP processes.
  • Monitor training data, support administration duties, and report on training activities.
  • Collaborate with SZC, H&S, and Quality teams to map training needs and develop necessary programmes.
  • Maintain and improve L&D systems and organise audits of training courses.
  • Work closely with HR and HS&E teams to ensure continuity through implemented programmes.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Previous experience in HR/Training, ideally in the nuclear industry.
  • Good knowledge of training requirements in construction and civil engineering in the UK.
  • Strong organisational skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • A proactive team player who can also work independently.
  • Someone who embodies our core values of humility, positivity, respect, solidarity, and clarity.
