POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsiblefor planning, designing, and facilitating wellness and employee engagementinitiatives aimed at enhancing employee performance and aligning with theorganization's strategic goals

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s degree and at least three (3) years ofrelated experience in supporting employee engagement, wellness programs, orhuman resources initiatives, or an equivalent combination of education,training, and experience. Experience in a public sector or large organizationalenvironment preferred.
  • Knowledge of employee engagement, onboarding, and wellness program design and implementation.
  • Understanding of survey tools, data collection methods, and basic data analysis.
  • Familiarity with internal communications strategies and platforms (e.g., newsletters, intranet).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at one time while still meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; skilled in preparing and delivering presentations that engage and motivate diverse employee groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with SharePoint or HRIS systems is beneficial.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of assignments, follows through on tasks, and proactively seeks solutions without needing constant direction.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain focus under pressure.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for improvement and resolve challenges effectively.
  • Ability to demonstratecustomer service awareness and interpersonal skills when interacting withemployees, leadership, and external partners.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license
  • Professional HumanResources certifications are desired
