We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Manager of Security Operations & Emergency Preparedness to lead our security team and emergency response efforts with confidence, compassion, and precision.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee daily hospital security operations to ensure safety of all individuals and property
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and emergency protocols
• Supervise and support security personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism
• Coordinate emergency management activities in alignment with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Serve as a key liaison during crisis situations, ensuring calm, clear, and effective communication

What You Bring:

• Education: High School diploma required; A.A. in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, or related field preferred
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of management experience in a security-related field; healthcare security experience a plus
• Licensure/Certifications:
  • Maryland State Police Security Guard Card (preferred or obtainable within 90 days)
  • BLS (CPR) certification required
  • De-Escalation training (required within 90 days)
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record (certified copy required annually)
  • CHPA, CPP, or other relevant certifications preferred

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills across diverse populations
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
• Proficiency in incident reporting systems, access control systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
