Position Title: Director of Corporate Data Office Program & Operations

Location: Dallas, TX

Your role 

We are seeking a Director of CDO Operations who will play a critical role in enabling the team’s growth and success. This position supports the Corporate Data Office (CDO) and the Value Management Office (VMO) by overseeing operational execution, governance, and continuous improvement across data and AI initiatives.

The role is responsible for driving operational excellence, facilitating lean governance, and ensuring value realization from enterprise programs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in program management and leadership, with proven experience delivering large programs. They will have good communication skills and align the teams’ priorities to business requirements, establish best practices, and drive measurable outcomes, consistency, and trustworthiness.

What you’ll do 

Program & Project Oversight

· Collaborates with Director of Business Engagement & Data Strategy on intake

· Facilitates gate reviews, and status reporting for CDO initiatives.

· Coordinate execution across data platforms, integrations, engineering, governance, and AI architecture.

· Maintain cadence planning and process standardization.

Strategic Enablement

· Align enterprise policies and standards with business case analysis and value metrics.

· Support the Enterprise Architecture Review Board (ARB) and stakeholder communications.

· Facilitate collaboration across business units including HR, Legal, IT, P&E, and Finance.

Operational Excellence

· Manage onboarding/offboarding processes for CDO team members.

· Oversee tools and platforms such as Teams, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and PowerBI.

· Ensure data quality and compliance with AI policies and standards.

Value Management Office (VMO) Support

· Partner with VMO to prioritize initiatives based on strategic alignment and impact.

· Track KPIs and benefits realization across the CTO portfolio.

· Assess and manage risks related to value delivery and make necessary adjustments.

What you’ll need 

· Bachelor’s degree in business management, project management, operations management, Coor related field.

· 8+ years of experience in large program management

· Preferred certifications in Project Management (PMP), SAFe certifications or other agile methodology

· Expertise in tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and PowerBI.

· Proven experience in program management, operations, or enterprise governance.

· Strong people leadership and communication skills.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

· Experience with lean portfolio management and agile methodologies is a plus.
