The Planet Kids Supervisor is an integral part of the leadership team of Boreal Ridge Corporation, and is responsible for guest experience, and staff oversight at Planet Kids. The PK Supervisor should lead staff to effectively promote and execute the delivery of exceptional guest service that exceeds guests expectations, enhances their snow day experience, and provides a safe environment for little ones to spark big passions.

This position includes but is not limited to assigning daily placements, tasks, and lessons, checking on quality of work, inputting hours, being the first point of contact in de-escalating any disgruntled staff and/or guests, and helping the Guest OPs Manager make sure the lay of land at PK is how it should be. Supervisors should have a general knowledge of safety procedures and PPE use, ensuring all staff work in a safe manner when around large machines, power tools, chemicals, and hand tools. You will work closely with Mtn Services and the Guest Operations Manager to ensure proper lessons sales and organization. Additionally, you will assist the Guest Services Manager in staff trainings and staff evaluations.

While every day is different and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as a Planet Kids Supervisor:

• Manage team member schedules, timecards, and availability.
• · Train front line team members to deliver high quality, friendly guest services.
• · Assist with lessons trainings
• · Lead by example with set-up, tasks during operations, and take-down.
• · Conduct weekly safety meetings
• · Make sure instructors are on time for line-up.
• · Show motivation, effectiveness, and timeliness in all aspects of job
• · Snow removal, snow removal, and more snow removal (shoveling and snowblower)
• · Effectively communicate and coordinate with direct reports and corresponding teams.
• · Oversight of assigned rental staff at PK lodge
