The Role
Full-Time Janitor – City of Palmdale (Overnight Shift Mon-Fri 9pm - 5:30am)The City of Palmdale is seeking a reliable and self-motivated individual to join our Facilities Maintenance team. This position involves providing janitorial maintenance services to multiple parks and recreation centers throughout the city. The Janitor will drive a Company vehicle along an assigned route to perform cleaning, restocking, and light maintenance duties, ensuring that public facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for all visitors.
What You Will Do
Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, and public areas
Emptying trash and recycling receptacles
Performing light maintenance and reporting repair needs
Restocking supplies and maintaining inventory
- Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
What It Takes To Be Successful
- Must have Valid Driver's License
- Willingness to drive to various parks and recreation centers during the daily shift
- Problem solving skills
- Time management skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years custodial cleaning experience or equivalent preferred
