We are looking for a Software Engineer who will shape and implement strategic products to ensure the company stays on the leading edge of technology and delivering solutions for consumers and partners. You will contribute across the technology stack, from database and DevOps infrastructure that supports continuous deployment to front-end site and apps. You are a dynamic team player, creative thinker who has fun tackling complex problems at scale, and a strong relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
· Use agile engineering practices and various software and web development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that enhance the consumer and partner experience
· Communicate with IT teams about any Digital innovations that are tied into bedrock IT systems
· Interact with business stakeholders about agile processes to set and manage expectations about delivery methods and timelines
· Design and implement technical solutions using client-side and server-side web programming languages with a focus on optimization and best practices to ensure application performance and scalability.
· Deliver high-quality, scalable application code in a multidisciplinary team working on multiple initiatives.
· Adhering to our standards for engineering, testing, and operational excellence, drive best practices across the organization.
· Build and develop (with the team) a top-class affiliate platform. Monitor and analyze the overall affiliate platform sales performance, site performance, conversion rates, and traffic
Qualifications
Domain Expertise
· 5+ years of software development experience, with 2 years of experience in the design and development of affiliate platform applications or complex web applications
· Excellent understanding of NodeJS, ReactJS
· Experiences with code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, highly scalable applications, application security
· Expert in pair programming, continuous integration, test-driven development & incremental design
· Experience with complex database queries
· Ability to dig into business asks and provide sound technical solutions
· Demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units to achieve results
· Nice to have: Marketing aggregator or affiliate platform marketplace experience
