Precizion Partners is a Roseville, CA based demolition and remediation contractor focused on private and public infrastructure projects across throughout California & Northern NV. The Company has three operating companies (demolition, hazardous materials abatement and hauling & disposal services and presently operates out of facilities/yards in Stockton, Concord, Woodland and south Sacramento. The business focuses both on service work (sawcutting and C&D waste hauling) as well as larger projects.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Hazardous Material Abatement Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for abatement projects pertaining to asbestos, leads, and mold remediation, the majority of which are public works projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, industry and environmental regulation knowledge, and the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation/Quantity Takeoffs: Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings, to determine material, labor, production values, materials, subcontractor costs and equipment requirements, ensuring accurate and competitive cost estimates for project bids and budgeting. Industry Analysis: Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local abatement regulations and pricing trends to ensure competitive and accurate estimates are prepared that match market conditions.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for asbestos, mold, and lead remediation projects.
- Bid Preparation: Develop and submit competitive bids and proposals to clients, ensuring all requirements and specifications are met.
- Site Assessments: Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.
- Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide clear and accurate cost information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
- Miscellaneous: Perform other assigned duties as required.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental remediation estimating (asbestos, mold, lead).
- Skills: Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Familiarity with applicable regulations (EPA, OSHA, Cal/OSHA, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
- Experience with public sector or union projects.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of demolition processes, cost factors, and hazardous material abatement practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
