Role Overview

Concentrix is seeking a visionary Sr Director of Platform Engineering, Software Engineering and Software Reliability to lead a global organization spanning Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevSecOps, Quality Engineering, Platform and Application Development, and Enterprise Tooling Administration (including GitHub Enterprise Managed Users).

This executive will set the technical strategy and standards for the Business Engineering Solutions & Technology organization, defining engineering, architectural, SRE, and SDET practices that will be adopted across multiple engineering groups. Transform manual DevOps into AI-powered CI/CD pipelines, build resilient platforms, and scale engineering maturity to enable secure, high-velocity software delivery.

This role requires close partnership with the Global Product Organization (GPO) and internal IT teams to unify software delivery practices, modernize engineering operations, and influence global architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Define and execute a global platform, reliability, and software delivery strategy, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
    • Lead transformation from manual DevOps practices to fully automated, AI-augmented CI/CD pipelines.
    • Deliver self-service developer platforms, AI-enabled toolchains, and scalable automation solutions to improve engineering productivity.
  • Technical Strategy & Standards
    • Establish enterprise-wide engineering and architectural standards for platform engineering, SRE, and SDET practices.
    • Lead technical councils and architecture forums to unify practices across multiple engineering teams.
    • Partner with the Global Product Organization to align engineering standards and technical strategy with product and delivery needs.
  • AI-Driven Engineering Productivity
    • Implement AI and GenAI solutions to enhance code quality, automate repetitive tasks, and accelerate development cycles.
    • Promote AI-assisted testing, security scanning, observability, and intelligent automation throughout the SDLC.
    • Measure and report on the impact of AI-driven solutions on velocity, reliability, and overall engineering outcomes.
  • Site Reliability & DevSecOps
    • Mature SRE capabilities to improve platform reliability, resilience, and MTTR.
    • Partner with Security leaders to embed DevSecOps practices and ensure vulnerabilities are addressed early in the SDLC (Shift Left).
    • Establish observability, SLOs, and incident automation to enhance operational excellence.
  • Quality Engineering & Automation
    • Advance quality engineering practices, scaling test automation frameworks and integrating continuous quality checks/gating into pipelines.
    • Enable data-driven decision making to improve system resilience, reduce defects, and optimize cost.
  • Tooling & Governance
    • Lead the strategy and administration of enterprise software delivery tools, including GitHub Enterprise Managed Users.
    • Ensure software governance, compliance, and audit readiness while streamlining CAB and IT change management processes.
  • Application Development & Regional Leadership
    • Direct and scale the LATAM application development organization, partnering with regional business leaders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
    • Leverage Spanish fluency and regional leadership experience to foster strong business relationships and execution excellence.
  • Agile & Organizational Transformation
    • Champion agile practices and modern engineering operating models to improve delivery speed and predictability.
    • Build and mentor a high-performing, globally distributed engineering organization with strong leadership depth and collaboration skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 15+ years of progressive engineering leadership roles with VP-level impact, leading SRE, DevSecOps, platform engineering, and application development.
    • Demonstrated success building global internal developer platforms, setting engineering and architectural standards, and scaling CI/CD pipelines to thousands of developers.
    • Experience establishing SRE and SDET practices and influencing cross-functional engineering groups on technical strategy.
    • Proven ability to implement AI and GenAI solutions to boost productivity and enable next-generation engineering capabilities.
    • Extensive background in quality engineering, test automation, and large-scale cloud platform transformations.
    • Global leadership experience, spanning Americas, EMEA, and APAC, including direct leadership of LATAM engineering teams.
    • Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
  • Skills:
    • Deep technical expertise in IaC, configuration management, observability, DevSecOps, security testing automation, and AI-assisted engineering tools.
    • Strong architectural vision and ability to set standards for engineering excellence across multiple teams.
    • Executive-level communication skills with ability to partner with technical, business, security executives and global product leaders.
    • Proven organizational transformation and agile leadership capabilities.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to lead a global engineering transformation, setting technical standards and leveraging AI to define the future of software delivery.
  • A culture that values engineering excellence, automation-first thinking, and AI innovation.
  • Competitive executive compensation and benefits package.
