S³, Inc. has an opening for a Director, Agile Engineering Division to lead a 200 person division in support of major DOD weapon system acquisition programs. The Director will be located at our corporate HQ in Research Park, Huntsville, AL.
Description:
The Director will plan, organize, direct contract and task order capture, and manage staffing execution of a division supporting 200 employees. Accountability includes achieving business growth targets, P&L, and developing operating budgets that support corporate objectives.
- This position does not include relocation costs.
- This position in not a teleworking position.
- This position is receptive to military experience in acquisition at O5-O6 level with 5 years industry PM/leadership additional experience.
- This position requires minimal travel for business expansion, conference participation, and recruiting.
- This position requires some work weeks in excess of 40 hours.
- This position requires participation with Army organizations such as AUSA and AAAA as well as business enhancement organizations such as HASBAT and HAMA.
Responsibilities:
- Employ, train, motivate, and discipline assigned employees for task order/contract execution.
- Interface with customer representatives to develop and expand business opportunities.
- Develop a pipeline of business opportunities to grow the division at a rate of 10% per year.
- Operate within the requirements of ISO/AS9100 quality management system.
- Respond to task orders associated with IDIQ contracts that include EXPRESS, RS3, OASIS, SEAPORT, GSA, others.
- Brief plans and status to corporate leadership through POWERPOINT developed chart briefings.
- Create teaming relationships with Huntsville contractors to cover RFP/task order technical requirements.
- Manage PMs of technical and programmatic task orders toward CPAR performance of 4-5.
- Develop a strategy that expands the pipeline to include new customers for healthy division growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree with emphasis in engineering; Masters’ preferred
- 20 years minimum experience supporting Missile, Space, and Aviation technical services at the senior management level.
- 10 years of Program Manager experience.
- 5 years of P&L experience.
- 5 years of experience as a capture manager of IDIQ Task Orders supporting PEO M&S, PEO Aviation, DEVCOM AVMC, AMC.
Active US secret security clearance.
