We’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Lead to oversee our QC program and ensure every pint of OMB beer meets our uncompromising standards. This hands-on leader will drive quality initiatives across brewing, fermentation, filtration, yeast management, and packaging while supporting continuous improvement and team development.

What You’ll Do:
Quality Monitoring & Analysis
- Oversee brewing, fermentation, filtration, yeast management, and packaging to ensure compliance with OMB standards.
- Conduct microbiological, chemical, and sensory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished beer.
- Perform daily operational walkthroughs to assess cleanliness and maintain quality scorecards.
- Develop and maintain upper and lower control limits for critical parameters in new and existing products.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Lead the annual HACCP evaluation and support ongoing food safety initiatives.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Track and trend production data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Train and mentor team members in proper sanitation, sampling, and quality control procedures.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Food Science) or formal brewing education from an accredited program.
- 3–5 years of quality or production experience in a craft brewery or related beverage facility.
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, brewing science, and quality assurance.
- Working knowledge of brewing and packaging equipment and processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data analysis.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
- Experience with HACCP systems and sensory panel coordination.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
