We are now looking for Senior Business Analysts services to work on an exciting and challenging project to substantially overhaul an existing exchange, using a mix of Adaptive’s proprietary products and some bespoke code.




THE INDIVIDUAL/S PROVIDING THE SERVICES ARE:

  • A strategic thinker with great communication skills 
  • A strong relationship builder with your team and clients
  • A troubleshooter and a team player
  • Curious with respect to new business processes and technical solutions
  • Experienced with Agile processes especially as it relates to backlog building and maintenance

 

THE INDIVIDUAL/S PROVIDING THE SERVICES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

  • Significant experience working in the financial sector, with experience working on Real Time trading systems being especially valuable
  • Specific experience in margin trading would be highly preferential 
  • Front office stakeholder relationship management experience;
  • Experience delivering in an agile environment;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Some experience with QA/Business Acceptance Testing;
  • Some experience working with UX designers;
  • Some knowledge of Margin and Leveraged products in the financial markets



THE SERVICES REQUIRED: 

  • Rapidly boot up from scratch a working backlog to help stakeholders in making their vision for the product materialize, especially in the early stages of each delivery phase
  • Convey the project vision to the team and define clear milestones for alignment purposes, and so they can make holistic design decisions that will support the delivery
  • Maintain the backlog of deliverable stories for the team
  • Be the stakeholders’ proxy in the team, and where appropriate, you are able to make quick, firm decisions when it comes to scope, requirements and prioritization/triage
  • Involve team members when their perspective can bring value, including times when it can support scope and priority decisions - especially to quantify bang for buck
  • Follow up during the implementation and testing phases to ensure delivery satisfies the requirements
  • Drive the backlog review and estimation process and take part in planning activities
  • Capture non-functional requirements and keep supportability in mind
  • Define acceptance criteria and tests up front as part of a Business-Driven Development approach
  • Use your personal experience with Agile delivery to take advantage of its strengths and mitigate its potential risks
  • As a value-add, you should get involved in measuring project progress, using technical links to Jira or Azure as required
  • Work closely and complementarily with the Delivery Lead on the project;
  • Understand various software concepts to discuss problems and orchestrate strategy with various talents in the team (including but not limited to: real-time programming, high availability, TDD, BDD, UX design, DevOps concerns…)
  • Work with distributed teams

THE PROCESS
