Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor is a strategic partner for their assigned business groups driving talent strategies that enable long-term growth. This role goes beyond filling positions, focusing on understanding business priorities, anticipating future workforce needs, and shaping hiring approaches that align with organizational goals. Acting as a brand ambassador in the external market, the Senior Talent Aquisition Advisor builds and nurtures strong talent pipelines while authentically representing our culture and value proposition. Leveraging market insights, workforce trends, and competitive intelligence, they guide leaders in making informed talent decisions. Through deep relationships, consultative expertise, and proactive sourcing, the Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor ensures we attract, hire and retain exceptional people who drive the success of our business.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for assigned business groups, delivering a high-touch candidate experience.
- Proactively source top-tier talent through outbound strategies, market research, and relationship-building to address skill gaps and future needs.
- Partner with hiring managers and leaders to translate business objectives into effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Act as a culture ambassador, showcasing our high-performing and people-first culture to prospective candidates.
- Drive process improvements, refine interviewing practices, and provide consultative feedback to hiring managers.
- Collaborate with onboarding teams to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
- Leverage technology and social platforms to enhance talent attraction and engagement.
- Develop and maintain Talent Acquisition dashboard, reporting on key metrics and insights.
- Contribute to People and Culture initiatives and special projects as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience, preferably in wealth management or financial services, with a focus on direct sourcing and delivery of high-quality candidates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong systems aptitude, with an understanding of the latest recruitment tools and methods.
- Experience with Greenhouse Recruiting and/or Dayforce HCM an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation & Benefits Package:
This position comes with a base salary range of $78,000 - $118,000 plus a competitive performance bonus, RRSP contribution and participation in our profit-sharing program. Base salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
