We currently have a Regulatory Performance Analyst position available for a motivated individual to join our team based in either Exeter or Bristol. Joining us on a full-time, permanent basis you will receive a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum plus benefits.
About the Role
Operating in a heavily regulated industry, trust and transparency in performance reporting are essential. The Regulatory Performance Reporting Analyst will play a key role in ensuring that regulators, customers, and stakeholders have confidence in the accuracy and integrity of the company’s reporting.
This role is responsible for collating and analysing information that highlights performance, cost, and risk trade-offs, enabling informed decision-making across the business. It will ensure that internal and external reporting meets diverse expectations while accurately reflecting company performance.
Given the importance of the Business Plan, Annual Performance Report, and regulatory projects, the role involves close collaboration with senior managers, Directors, and a range of internal stakeholders, including compliance, economic regulation, financial regulation, and data reporting teams.

What you'll be doing as a Regulatory Performance Analyst:
Contribute to analysis in support of the business and regulators in relation to performance data and reporting frameworks
Ensure that teams across the business are aware of what they need to deliver for regulatory performance reporting and that the processes in place support timely and high-quality submissions
Work with teams across the business to ensure effective messaging and engagement for all regulatory reports
Translate any new reporting requirements into business processes and provide analysis and on regulatory performances matter
Review, summarise and communicate the key messages from incoming regulatory performance publications and assess and benchmark performance positions
Identify and tracking performance trends, risks and issues and escalate these where necessary
Maintain regulatory reported data in a logical and readily accessible system
Undertake work to provide information, analysis and advice on regulatory requirements
What we are looking for:
Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across the group
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail for reported data
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
Experience of data analysis
Experience of working in a regulated utility environment, with relevant knowledge and experience to the water industry would be desirable but not essential.
