POSITION SUMMARY
The Hub Operations & Events Manager oversees the daily operations, scheduling, events, partnerships, and facility management of the APS Hub. This role ensures seamless coordination of internal and external events, supports community engagement, manages inventory and volunteers, and provides oversight of facility and staff operations. The manager will serve as the primary point of contact for partners, staff, and community stakeholders, ensuring the Hub operates efficiently, safely, and in alignment with APS goals.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Education, Nonprofit Management, or related field (preferred).

- Experience in event management, operations, or facility oversight.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Outlook, scheduling software, and social media platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead volunteers and staff effectively.
- Knowledge of safety, security, and compliance procedures in K–12 or community settings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Event Scheduling & Management - Coordinate internal scheduling for staff and teams, ensuring efficient space use and clear communication through Outlook.
- Oversee external scheduling requests from departments and community groups, ensuring timely approval and placement on the master calendar.
- Direct event logistics, including preparation, setup/closure, parking, signage, security, and technology support.
- Conduct tours and provide orientations for groups hosting events at the Hub.
The Store Operations - Manage inventory, including weekly ordering, restocking, and organized storage to maintain accuracy and availability.
- Oversee customer shopping experiences, ensuring equitable access and positive engagement during designated shopping days.
- Lead volunteer management, including recruitment, background checks, scheduling, onboarding, training, and retention.
Revenue & Partnership Development - Manage special revenue accounts with fiscal responsibility, compliance, and accurate reporting.
- Strengthen and sustain partnerships by leading MOU negotiations, ensuring accountability, and fostering collaboration.
- Expand donation pipelines through online wish lists, tax credit programs, and other revenue-generating initiatives.
- Grow community partnerships to enhance programming and resources.
Communications & Outreach - Develop and manage social media content to increase Hub visibility and engagement.
- Plan and execute distribution events to effectively serve families and the community.
Facility Operations & Safety - Oversee building maintenance and communicate updates with onsite staff.
- Lead safety drills and ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
- Provide first-level IT support and coordinate resolution of advanced technical issues.
- Establish and enforce after-hours cleanup protocols with clear accountability measures.
- Manage office supply procurement, including paper orders by department or centralized system.

Additional Work Conditions & Physical Abilities: Will require travel to multiple sites.
