Job Purpose

The Senior Front End Engineer will design, develop, test, and deploy complex web applications using React and associated technologies. The role includes mentoring team members, defining technical solutions, creating prototypes for new frameworks, automating testing, and ensuring adherence to software development standards.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in all scrum ceremonies and contribute to the delivery of the strategic roadmap.
• Define project scope, specifications, and estimate resources required for development.
• Ensure requirements are clearly communicated to development teams and monitor progress against timelines.
• Propose architecture and technical solutions for application development.
• Deliver well-designed, fully functional, high-quality, and thoroughly tested features and enhancements.
• Manage and support the full software development lifecycle.
• Define and document best practices for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Investigate new technologies and alternatives to support continuous improvement and architectural review.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Participate in all testing cycles to ensure quality and functionality.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and subject matter expertise to team members on complex engagements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of front end development experience using React, JavaScript, CSS, and Node.js.
• Strong experience with debugging, testing, and delivering high-quality front end features.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.

Nice to Have Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud and container technologies (Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, or Postman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Monitoring tools: Datadog or New Relic.
• API management: Apigee.
