Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials, including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. We are seeking an HR Administrative Assistant to support our Operations and Human Resources team at our local plant. In this role, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Department and interact regularly with operations leadership, supervisors, and employees across the site. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel and training files.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and serve as point of contact for new employees during their onboarding period.
  • Create and track training plans, ensuring completion and documentation in training databases.
  • Maintain personnel and training files to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with employee communications, HR reporting, and administrative support for the HR Manager and operations leadership.
  • Prepare organization charts, management reports, and other HR-related documents as needed.
  • Process and code invoices, manage requests for business and fuel cards, and assist with department purchasing needs.
  • Provide professional front-line support to employees and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and support an environment of teamwork and respect.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative or HR support experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HRIS or timekeeping systems preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
