About the role

As a Assistant Manager you need to oversee and manage Level 1 tasks comprising of transactional in nature for HR Services Global Immigration. 

Significant contributions in strategic objectives for Immigration. 

Your responsibilities

  • Strong subject mater expertise of Immigration for work authorisations and running day to day operations. 
  • Ensure immigration operations are BAU and SLAs are met as per organizational standards. 
  • Maintain strong cordial working relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.  
  • Assisting international transferees with complex paperwork queries in order to obtain work authorization.  
  • Handling stakeholders complex queries over the phone and in meetings & emails.  
  • Advanced working knowledge on the end user ServiceNow & HR Successfactors platform. Applicable vendors tools etc. 
  • Oversee daily follow up with the transferees and ensure overall immigration workflow closures.  
  • Achieve advanced level of updated knowledge on immigration regulations and policies across the globe and ensure the organization's practices align with current immigration laws. 
  • Own, maintain and upkeep the internal process documents and align with current immigration laws.  
  • Operate independently & ensure employee satisfaction in leading immigration initiatives and best Practices. 
  • Advanced working experience in HR Reporting and Data Analytics resulting in Strategy Execution 
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including review/presentation expertise. 
  • Manage ambiguity and convert gaps/issues into opportunities for HR Services Immigration Services. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

The experience we're looking for

Relevant Immigration Working Experience for 8 to 10 years. 

Relevant people management experience of 2 – 3 years 

Critical Thinking & Decision Making 

Mid-Level 

  • Task Complexity: Should be able to guide team in solving complex tasks & queries. 
  • Responsibility: Should own the service line tasks and be responsible to complete tasks within the defined SLAs. 
  • Supervisory Responsibility: This role has supervisory responsibility.

  • Support in hiring process such as taking interviews.  
  • Provide timely feedbacks to the team members on their performance and objectives. 
  • Escalation handling on behalf of team. 
  • Provide inputs to the leadership on performance evaluation.
