Description

  

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by aggressively pursuing new business opportunities and selling glass products and solutions to commercial and residential clients. This role requires a true hunter mentality—someone who thrives on finding, developing, and closing new accounts while also strengthening relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, competitive, and results-driven.

Requirements

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, target, and secure new customer accounts through cold calling, networking, and market outreach.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to consistently meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Strengthen and expand relationships with existing clients to maximize repeat business and referrals.
  • Present, demonstrate, and position product features and benefits to decision-makers and project influencers.
  • Negotiate project pricing and terms and prepare accurate sales contracts to close business profitably.
  • Partner with inside sales and production teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and detailed records of sales activities in CRM. 
  • Travel regularly for customer visits and jobsite walks when required 
  • Represent Hartung Glass Industries at trade shows, industry events, and professional associations.
  • Resolve product or delivery concerns promptly and professionally to maintain trust and customer loyalty.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven outside sales success, ideally in glass, building materials, or architectural aluminum.
  • Strong hunter mentality—driven to prospect, win new accounts, and grow market share.
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with a persuasive approach.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity to uncover opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. Familiarity with SalesForce or like CRM a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret  technical documents, specifications, blueprints, and contracts.
  • Highly organized with strong  time-management skills; able to manage multiple opportunities and      deadlines simultaneously.

Working Conditions, Environment, and Physical Demands Work is primarily performed in an office environment with frequent travel to customer sites, production facilities, and construction areas. Requires walking, standing, and navigating job sites as needed. 

Travel

 Familiarity with SalesForce or like CRM a plus.


Extensive travel within the assigned territory is required. 

Salary- $80K-90K DOE
