Are you a Registered Nurse excited to take on a leadership role?! Tri-State Occupational Health is hiring a Clinical Supervisor to help manage the day-to-day operations.
The Position:
As an RN Clinical Supervisor, you will assist with the facilitation of the delivery of care and services within the department to include assisting with direct patient care, manage training/development of staff, manage staff performance evaluations and assign work to assure adequate staffing levels to deliver a high level of patient care and excellent customer service. You will work cohesively with the leadership in collaboration with other clinical managers as pertains to the clinical services offered by TSOH.
Schedule:
Core business hours for this position are Mon-Fri, 8-5:00. May need to attend meetings outside core business hours on occasion.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Facilitate the delivery of quality care and services within the department to include working in direct patient care and care coordination as needed.
- Assist providers (physicians and/or advanced practice providers) and co-workers in triaging patients as well as coordinating and carrying out diverse patient care plans with return to work driven outcomes.
- Facilitate required screenings and medical surveillance, wellness promotion, i.e. vaccinations.
- Engage with the injured employee, employer and physician(s) by providing focused claim resolution and return to work driven outcomes.
- Manage TSOH business, clinical, ancillary, and administrative responsibilities as retained in the department. Assist in facilitating strategic and annual business planning and implementing objectives. In collaboration with Clinical Director, prepare, justify, and monitor budget and financials with responsibility for TSOH’s overall fiscal performance; prepare and maintain business contracts/agreements, including initiation, pricing, key terms, compliance and renewal.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist physicians with direct patient care as directed by license qualifications.
- Perform managerial responsibilities, which may include but are not limited to: assist with the annual budget, attending meetings, collecting/compiling data and prepares reports. Facilitate medical records management, transcription, and business office activities, including establishing appropriate coding and charging mechanisms for department.
- Manage selection, training, development, performance evaluation, and performance issues for direct reports. Prepare schedule and assign work to assure adequate staffing levels to deliver a high level of patient service.
- Interpret and comply with regulations, policies and procedures, which may include but is not limited to: completing incident reports, evaluating safety of equipment, credentialing in area of responsibility, and enforcing CLIA regulations governing laboratory functions.
- Complete all other assigned projects and duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience – Three to five years of similar or related experience.
Education - RN licensure required. Equivalent to a two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study or certification at a business or trade school.
Interpersonal Skills - A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
Other Skills - Keyboarding skills and use of electronic equipment. Use and operate a wide variety of diagnostic and medical equipment. Use personal protection safety equipment including gloves, lab coats, gowns, goggles, and face masks/shields. BLS required biannually
