Will be responsible for McLeod Dillon hospital and provider-based clinics at Carolina Forest, Myrtle Beach, and Little River.

 

  1. Maintain a professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
  2. Shall demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the quality management system by:
    1. promoting the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking;

    2. engaging, directing, and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system requirements;

    3. promoting improvement.

  3. Provides direct support to hospital departments of the McLeod system to meet accreditation standards.

  4. Responsible for maintaining current expertise for continuous compliance with the standards and intent of the standards.

  5. Acts as organizational liaison with the regulatory bodies and assures that all survey requirements/preparations/responses are made within the appropriate time frames.

  6. Collaborates and assists with establishment of action plans with departments or teams

  7. Participates as an active member of appropriate committees.

  8. Performs proactive risk assessments to identify opportunities for improvement

  9. Functions in collaborative relationship between the AVP of Quality and the AVP of Survey Readiness

  10. Demonstrates continued growth and development in leadership skills including: delegation, mentoring, and fostering professional practices.

  11. Participate in moving the organization to ISO compliance

 

Qualifications/Training:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in leadership or management position

  • Previous experience with regulatory surveys

  • Clinical background

 

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

  • If RN, must possess a valid SC license

  • Baccalaureate degree must be obtained within 3 years of hire

  • NIMS 100 within 12 months of date of hire
