Purpose of the Role:
Mandelbaum Barrett PC is seeking a Level 2 IT Application Support Specialist to join our high-performing team in Roseland, NJ. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy, team-oriented professional who enjoys troubleshooting, collaborating with others, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support to internal users via phone, email, and in person, ensuring timely resolution of complex issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Set up and configure computers and applications for new hires, ensuring seamless onboarding.
- Administer user accounts and access permissions, following security protocols.
- Support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Zoom, and other legal tech tools.
- Maintain clear documentation of technical issues and solutions.
- Assist with application rollouts and updates, including legal software and eDiscovery platforms.
- Identify opportunities to automate routine IT tasks and improve workflows.
- Provide feedback and support during internal application development projects.
- Travel to other offices or event sites as needed for on-site support.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- 2–4 years of IT support experience with demonstrated Level 2 troubleshooting skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with legal applications and remote support tools is a plus.
- Experience with scripting tools like PowerShell or Python is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Reliable team player who can also work independently.
Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a salary range of $48,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. Support staff may also be eligible for discretionary year-end bonuses and a merit-based increase. The posted salary range reflects the base pay range for this position.
