Overview 

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Pricing Analyst with 3-5 years of experience. In this role, you will play a critical role in developing and optimizing pricing strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness. You will leverage data analysis, market research, and cross-functional collaboration to drive informed pricing decisions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze historical sales data, competitive benchmarks, customer behavior, and market trends to inform pricing decisions.
  • Develop and refine pricing models and frameworks to support strategic initiatives and product launches.
  • Collaborate with Research and Development, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to understand business goals and align pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor pricing performance metrics (e.g., margins, win rates, price elasticity) and recommend adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Conduct pricing impact assessments, scenario modeling, and what-if analyses.
  • Support pricing governance and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and improve pricing tools, dashboards, and reporting systems.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, revenue management, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience with pricing strategy and competitive analysis in a B2B or B2C environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Great Plains & Business Central).

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience with pricing software and ERP systems.  
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling or programming languages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with margin optimization, cost-plus pricing, value-based pricing, or promotional pricing.
