Do you thrive on accuracy, organization, and problem-solving? As a Payroll Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring payroll runs flawlessly for hundreds of associates across multiple states. This is a role where your attention to detail, compliance know-how, and teamwork will directly impact both employees and business success.
What You’ll Do
- Manage weekly multi-state payroll for a large temporary workforce.
- Verify and reconcile timesheets, hours worked, overtime, and deductions.
- Ensure payroll remains compliant with all federal, state, and local wage laws.
- Process adjustments including garnishments, PTO, vacation, and sick time accruals.
- Collaborate with recruiters, HR, and client managers to resolve discrepancies.
- Review payroll reports for accuracy before processing.
- Support payroll funding, bank transmissions, and general ledger postings.
- Complete pay statements, direct deposits, and pay cards on time.
- Assist with year-end reporting, including W-2s and ACA compliance.

Requirements
- 2+ years of payroll and/or accounting experience.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Advanced skills in Excel, Office Suite, and payroll/accounting systems.
- Strong communication skills — able to explain payroll details clearly.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
