Key Responsibilities:
- Credit & Underwriting
- Oversee underwriting team responsible for evaluating and decisioning applications.
- Ensure adherence to credit policy, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend adjustments to underwriting guidelines.
- Coach and develop underwriters, ensuring consistency and accuracy in credit decisions.
- Funding
- Manage funding operations, including document validation, funding queue management, and customer/dealer communication.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and operational requirements
- Optimize funding timelines while maintaining high accuracy and fraud prevention standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Credit, Operations, Compliance, Technology) to streamline processes.
- Site Leadership
- Act as the senior leader at the satellite office, responsible for culture, employee engagement, and day-to-day management.
- Serve as the point of contact between the office and executive leadership (COO/CRO).
- Ensure operational readiness, including staffing, facilities management, and business continuity planning.
- Represent the company in the local market and foster strong team cohesion
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in credit, underwriting, funding, or related financial services operations.
- 5+ years in a leadership role managing underwriting or funding teams.
- Strong knowledge of consumer and/or commercial lending practices, compliance, and risk management.
- Proven ability to manage teams across multiple functions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to act as both a hands-on operator and senior site leader.
- Ability to work on-site in Dallas, TX

Profile Differentiators:
- Experience leading a satellite office or multi-site operations.
- Background in captive finance, indirect lending, or fintech credit/funding operations.
- Strong data-driven decision-making and process improvement skills.
- Experience in founding, co-founding or working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience in Powersports Finance Industry (motorcycle, ATVs UTVs, PWCs)
- Experience in a FinTech startup
- Prior experience in managing a team of Data Scientists and Risk Analysts
- Master’s degree or Advanced Professional degree
