Assistant Community Manager


This job description serves as a detailed guide outlining the roles and responsibilities associated with the position of Assistant Community Manager (ACM) at Corner Property Management. It is designed to provide employees with a comprehensive understanding of the expectations and qualifications associated with this vital role.      


Schedule:

  • The business work week is Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This schedule can and may be determined by clients’ needs.   
  • May be required to work evenings and/or weekends as needed for association meetings, special or urgent projects/tasks (notice will be provided in advance).   
  • May be required to travel for industry training or Corporate Office events (notice will be provided in advance).    


Responsibilities: 

  • Respond to and follow up on Board inquiries, directing all non-administrative tasks to the manager.  
  • Accept calls on behalf of the association, assist with unit owner concerns or maintenance issues, create work orders as needed.   
  • Keep Association Board Member Contact Lists and any Association notes and records organized within company software.   
  • Issue Work Orders as needed and notify the manager for follow-up.   
  • Coordinate clubhouse rental requests and reservations, as well as pool and gym facilities if applicable.   
  • Maintain information logs for access gate, remote, key logs, and other information in appropriate location.
  • Cover and assist Community Manager with break, sick, and vacation coverage. 
  • Train new and current employees and participate in continuing education for upward mobility.     

The Primary Responsibilities of an Assistant Community Manager may change based on assignment. This is a general list of responsibilities. The main task of an Assistant Community Manager is to assist the Community Association Manager or Regional Director in day-to-day property operations.
