Job Description: DevOps  

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). 

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes. 

• Optimize caching strategies using Akamai for high-performance delivery. 

• Manage and automate deployments on Linode and other cloud environments. 

• Monitor system performance, availability, and security across environments. 

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles. 

• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. 

• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards. 

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills 

Education 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP (DevOps Engineer). 

Skills 

• Caching & Performance: 

• Experience with Akamai CDN and caching strategies. 

• Familiarity with edge delivery and content acceleration. 

• Infrastructure Management: 

• Experience deploying and managing workloads on Linode. 

• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). 

• Cloud Platforms: 

• Proven experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. 

• Strong understanding of cloud networking, storage, and compute services. 

• Containerization & Orchestration: 

• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes. 

• Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes operators. 

• CI/CD & Automation: 

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools. 

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.). 

Experience 

• 6+ years of experience leading outsourced or offshore DevOps teams 

• Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines in production environments 

Good-to-Have Qualifications & Skills 

Education 

• Prior experience in high-traffic, mission-critical production environments. 

• Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar. 

Skills 

• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd). 

• Familiarity with serverless architectures and FaaS. 

• Exposure to security tools and practices (e.g., Vault, IAM policies). 

• Knowledge of cost optimization strategies across cloud platforms. 

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. 

• Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures 

• Experience with cost optimization and cloud billing management 

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
